Hi Everyone! I am having a super hectic Monday and I predict that the rest of the week will be much the same so although I don't have time for a nice long blog post, I just wanted to share some more pictures of my holiday with you.
These were taken at Ko Tapu Island or the better known 'James Bond Island' as it is now called. The name comes from the fact that the 1974 Bond movie 'The man with the Golden Gun' was filmed there. This has turned the island and also Phang Nga Bay into a major tourist attraction.
My honest opinion of this tour is that although the island and surrounding scenery is of course absolutely beautiful, the amount of tourists that are consistently pumped onto the island really takes away from the solidarity and quietness that one could otherwise have enjoyed. The island that you disembark onto is filled with tourists and packed with stalls selling seashells and other trinkets and has very much a market type vibe to it. It actually was just so full at one point that Zak and I went off on our own and that's when we took these photo's. Despite the crowd, I will still recommend it as a must see tour - the pictures definitely don't do justice to the beauty! Enjoy and don't forget to check out my new Shop SS stock for sale HERE.
Thanks for Reading :)
